Our BIG Update

       Dear blog-o-sphere friends,
Welcome one again to another episode of Woven Together. I am sorry that neither Heather nor I have updated in quite. Life around the Will household has been busy of late, but we felt that it was time to once again give everyone an update on our lives. Our online auction went pretty well for a first attempt, and we are thankful to all who contributed to it, and to all those who bid on the various items.

With no further adieu, the big news:

Heather is 11 weeks pregnant. Yes, that's right. P-R-E-G-N-A-N-T. The impossible.

I'll say it again if you missed it: Heather is pregnant.

We have kept this news off the blogsphere until now, as we wanted to wait to share this news until we were close to the end of the first trimestet. If something had gone wrong early, it would have been very painful to talk about, and so we waited. And now, after seeing the baby's heartbeat (and heart valves) during Heather's third OB-GYN visit, we decided to unleash this news on the world. I am guessing that if you are reading this, you probably already know about this via Facebook, where we announced yesterday. If not, now you are in the loop too.

To answer the question that this post will most likely raise, yes, we still plan to adopt, but no, we are not going to continue working through the process during Heather's pregnancy. We both feel that adopting is still a route we want to take, but feel that it is in our (and the baby's) best interest to hold off until after the birth of our first child. Hopefully, you are as excited about this as we are! We plan to keep the blog, but probably won't update all that often, at least until the baby is born. After that, well, you will probably get to read to your heart's content. In the meantime, we hope that this post finds you well, and happy. We will talk to you again soon-ish!

Much love,
-H&J-
